Norma’s Trip to Prague, Czech Republic

Was in Prague for several days earlier this month.  What an amazing city!  The combination of historic buildings and  contemporary elements (such as modern interior spaces and contemporary sculptures) was quite striking.

My feet were sore from all of the walking on cobble stones for 5 days, but so were my eyes from all the sights.  Utterly amazing! First I got my footing and did some window shopping.  Amazing stores throughout the city with upscale brands near the river.

Prague at night is quite magical!

View from dinner on a River Boat.  Yes, I took this photo myself with my IPhone.  Could not have been more romantic!

Lots of fun, whimsical sculptures located throughout the city!

Contemporary interiors are interspersed throughout the city.

Remodel of the Glendale, AZ Civic Center – signage and carpet design package

We recently completed the partial remodel of the Glendale Civic Center.  The design services included custom carpet tile at the common areas and ballroom – the carpet manufacturer is Milliken which has great color options and a new signage program – Century Signs.  This provided a fresh look for the existing facility.  The Glendale Civic Center is a lovely facility which has large interior and exterior spaces which are available for corporate events, weddings, reunions and other functions.  Located about 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix with ample parking I was impressed with this gem when I was first approached by the city for assistance in improving their facilities.
