As a subcontractor to Soltek Pacific Construction and Michael Baker Jr., Inc., NM Interiors Group provided structural interior design (SID) and comprehensive interior design (CID) packages, including interior finish and furnishings specification/selections, signage, pricing and design drawings, Best Values determination and coordination of interior lighting and electrical drawings.

This new, 31,000 square foot LEED Certified (Silver) facility serves as a second home for 306 children infant-to-preschool children of naval personnel. NM Interiors Group worked closely with the client's user group and the architect to create well-illuminated, stimulating, safe, active and passive activity areas serving children, adult staff, and parents. Our design delivered: child-first comfort in an interactive, safe-play and experientially-enriching environment; easily-supervised, child-reconfigurable spaces; open-office administrative spaces with training and break rooms.

Design services included: custom millwork design; furniture, artwork and accessory selections; furniture space planning; custom floor details, detailed interior element specifications.

In 2011, ASID Arizona North Chapter awarded this project a 1st Place, Design Excellence Award for Public Facilities and Schools.
