Office Building
Air Force Base

NM Interiors Group was asked to design the interiors of a new military office building. Working closely with the architectural/engineering team – Michael Baker Jr., Inc. – we designed this 20,244 square-foot, two-story building.

The building serves full-time staff and reservists. Flexibility was of the essence in the design of this space. NM Interiors Group performed a detailed analysis and reviewed three different manufacturers for each furniture selection. A Best Values determination was made by NM Interiors Group for all furnishings and accessories as required by the solicitation. Ultimately, Steelcase systems furniture was selected. Working closely with the user group and military design standards, NM Interiors Group was able to create a very functional and aesthetically pleasing space. The building includes offices, training areas and meeting areas.

Design services included: furniture and finish specification / selections, best values furniture determination analysis, millwork design, space planning, systems furniture layouts, interior signage program, selections of accessories and artwork and construction drawings.
